C Class W205 models built between 2014-2017 with the Audio 20 (Small Screen) system have an inherent flaw.

All units will unfortunately develop the same issue – white lines on the screen. This prevents the unit from starting up, and affects the reverse camera and ac system as well. Despite appearances the screen itself is not faulty, the head unit (control unit) is.

Contrary to other professionals in the market, 99% of units are repairable by doing a software update. This update patches the flaw in the system, and is a permanent repair.

The update can only be done by dealers and specialists with access to a genuine Mercedes diagnosis system.

You must be able to remove the Headunit (not the screen) and send this to us.

Inbound postage is not included – we can organise a FedEx collection for £9.20. Return postage is included – unless the repair is not successful.

We do provide instructions on how, and it is reasonably simple to do.

All units are subject to extensive testing before being returned.

If the update is not doable – or does not resolve the issue – no charge is made bar return postage costs.
